No aid convoys would cross into Gaza from Egypt today due to the loss of telecom networks in the Palestinian enclave, a UN official has said. A lack of fuel to create electricity has shut down internet and phone networks for the past two days, effectively cutting off the besieged territory from the outside world and making aid missions more perilous.
