A third convoy of humanitarian aid comprising 40 lorries entered the Gaza Strip through Egypt’s Rafah border crossing on Monday, a witness reported. The convoy was split into two batches of about 20 lorries each. One entered on Sunday night and the other went through early on Monday morning, an Egyptian security official said. A convoy of 17 lorries, which entered on Sunday, was the second overall aid shipment to make it into the bombarded enclave.
