According to the state’s chief minister, at least 34 people have perished as a result of days of heavy rainfall in Uttarakhand, as rescuers worked to release those stranded on Wednesday.

Aerial footage of the impacted areas revealed engorged rivers and settlements that had been partially buried by floodwaters.

According to reports,”There is huge loss due to the flood, the crops have been destroyed.”
