World Central Kitchen said it is suspending its operations in the region immediately after seven employees were killed in an Israeli air strike on Deir Al Balah. The workers were killed while travelling through a non-combat area in vehicles branded with the WCK logo, the organisation said. Two vehicles are believed to have been hit, despite the NGO co-ordinating its movements with the Israeli military.
