Toba Tek Singh: At Chak 424/JB Gojra, a woman was allegedly killed by her husband and in-laws. Yousaf Masih, the complainant, filed a court petition claiming that his deceased daughter Kanwal was tortured to death by her husband Sajjad Masih and his family. In his petition, he claimed that the accused was pressuring his wife to collect money from her parents from her share of the property. When she declined, the accused allegedly tortured her to death and buried her without informing her family a few weeks ago. The court ordered the deceased’s grave to be dug after hearing the arguments.
