The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted that the present cold wave in Karachi will worsen over the next two days, with temperatures dropping to as low as 8 degrees Celsius.

According to the Met Office, the city’s minimum temperature on Sunday night was 9 degrees Celsius, and visibility near Karachi airport was limited to roughly 2.5 kilometres due to fog this morning.
