Israeli settlers committed more than 343 attacks in the occupied West Bank, killing eight Palestinians and injuring more than 83, western countries said. Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Ireland, Luxemburg, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK, as well as the EU, called on Israel to take immediate and concrete steps to tackle the record-high settler violence in the West Bank, Palestinian news agency Wafa reported. “We strongly condemn the violent acts committed by extremist settlers, which are terrorizing Palestinian communities,” they said in a joint statement.
