A US official has told reporters that Washington is “open ‍for business” ‍if Iran wishes to negotiate with the Trump administration. “I ⁠think they know the terms,” the official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said when asked by journalists about the terms of talks with Tehran. “They’re aware of the terms.” A US aircraft carrier and supporting warships have arrived in the Middle East, expanding Trump’s capabilities for potential military action against Iran.
