The US military conducted two strikes against six Houthi mobile anti-ship cruise missiles in Yemen that were “prepared to launch towards the Red Sea”. A Houthi unmanned drone was also shot down over the southern Red Sea, the US military said. The US Central Command said it determined the missiles and drone presented an” imminent threat to merchant vessels and to the US Navy ships in the region”.
