US Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke with Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, the US State Department said. They discussed the state of the Middle East, including the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, Syria’s political future, and the cessation of hostilities in Lebanon. They also discussed the importance of permanently ending Houthi attacks in the Red Sea and surrounding waterways, the State Department said.
