UN Relief and Works Agency Commissioner General Philippe Lazzarini said that a large numbers of people were seen fleeing Khan Younis, the largest city in southern Gaza, as Israel continues military operations in the area. “A sea of people forced to flee Khan Younis, ending up at the border with Egypt,” he wrote in a post on X. Mr Lazzarini shared a video showing crowds of people walking up a hilly road in Gaza. “A never ending search for safety that Gaza is no longer able to give,” he wrote.
