Israeli bulldozers damaged the office of UN agency for Palestinian refugees in the occupied West Bank’s Nur Shams camp, the agency’s chief said. Israel has disputed his account. Philippe Lazzarini, who leads UNRWA, said on X that the office was severely damaged and was no longer usable. The Israeli military issued a statement denying responsibility for any damage to the building. “The claim that the UNRWA offices in Nur Shams were destroyed by [Israeli] soldiers is false,” the statement read.
