Addressing a conference in Tashkent, PM Imran Khan claimed that Pakistan played a more important role than any other country in bringing the Taliban to the negotiation table. PM Imran Khan expressed great disappointment over Afghan President Ashraf Ghani’s remarks about Pakistan’s negative role in the Afghan conflict. He called it unfair to blame Pakistan for unrest in Afghanistan. He also claimed that Pakistan sacrificed 70,000 lives of its people in a war against terrorism.
