A shipment of medical aid from the World Health Organisation and the UN’s refugee agency arrived at Beirut’s Rafic Hariri airport on Friday, with support from the UAE, the Lebanese government said. Health Minister Firass Abiad said an air bridge was being created from the UAE to Lebanon to provide more relief supplies. “This shipment comes at a very important time, coinciding with the Israeli attacks that are taking place in Lebanon and are expanding,” he said.
