The UN Security Council is set to vote on Wednesday on a draft resolution addressing the Gaza war, proposed by the Council’s 10 elected members (E10). The resolution calls for an immediate, unconditional and permanent ceasefire by all parties and demands the unconditional release of all hostages. It rejects “any effort to starve Palestinians” and urges unhindered access to humanitarian aid and essential services for civilians, including those in besieged northern Gaza.
