The World Food Programme has said it is ready to increase aid deliveries significantly to reach all those in need across the Gaza Strip. “With safe and sustainable access provided, we can deliver bread, wheat flour, and food parcels to 1.6 million people within three months,” it said on X. The UN agency for Palestinian refugees, UNRWA, told The National that it has enough food to feed Gaza for three months, adding that the mass movement of people as they return home might pose a challenge.
