Around 8:30 this morning [0630GMT], a Russian drone crashed into the roof of this building [in Kyiv]. We spoke with witnesses who showed us pictures of drone debris on the ground. We spoke to a father who said his son lived in this apartment. This hasn’t just taken a toll on the population, but also it’s taking a toll on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. There are currently several regions across the country completely without power – all of this while temperatures here are plummeting. Attacks like this one we saw last night are something Ukrainians know all too well, and have, as a result, become accustomed to responding to quite quickly.
