Ukrainian delegation heading to US for peace talks: Zelenskyy

A team of Ukrainians, led by security council secretary Rustem Umerov, is en route to the United States for peace talks, Ukraine’s Zelenskyy has said. Russia, Ukraine, the US and Europe have discussed the terms of a new peace proposal throughout the week, with a US delegation expected to arrive in Moscow next week. “The task is clear: to swiftly and substantively work out the steps needed to end the war,” Zelenskyy wrote on social media.
