The UK Maritime Trade Operations centre said it received a report of an incident to the north-west of Hodeidah, on Yemen’s Red Sea coast. The Iran-backed Houthi rebels, who control parts of Yemen, have attacked ships in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden since the outbreak of the war in Gaza.
