London: On Jan 30, the UK warned that sanctions law would be implied on Russia and it would have ‘nowhere to hide’. The UK planned legislation to prevent a Russian invasion of Ukraine, as Moscow said that NATO wanted to ‘drag’ Kyiv into the alliance. “Any company of interest to the Kremlin and the regime in Russia would be able to be targeted so there will be nowhere to hide for Putin’s oligarchs, for Russian companies involved in propping up the Russian state,” Foreign Secretary Liz Truss has said on Sunday
