Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs, said after a phone call with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken that the new Gaza ceasefire deal announced by US President Joe Biden should be taken seriously and positively, Wam reported. He stressed the importance of the three-phased proposals presented by Mr Biden and said the efforts were appreciated along with all other proposals that lead to de-escalation in the region, protecting the lives of all civilians, alleviating the worsening humanitarian crisis that civilians are suffering from in the Gaza Strip, and ending the war.
