October 1, 2021: In a child pornography case, a Hyderabad court sentenced two people to three years in jail and a Rs 20,000 fine.
The Judicial Magistrate ruled both Waqar and Nadeem guilty, according to Imran Riaz, Additional Director, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
He stated that the FIA Cyber Crime Wing apprehended the perpetrators a year ago based on the information given by Interpol. Waqar started the WhatsApp group “Lovely Child,” where he posted obscene footage of children.
The other culprit has a WhatsApp group named “Baby Video Only.” The FIA had previously informed the Senate Standing Committee on Child Safety that it had begun a targeted operation against people who watched and downloaded child abuse material.
