US President Donald Trump says he will be “very firm” with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu when he pushes for an end to the war in Gaza at a meeting next week. Mr Trump, who plans to meet the Israeli leader on Monday, has suggested a Gaza deal could happen “some time next week”. During a tour of a migrant detention centre in Florida, Mr Trump was asked how tough he would be with Mr Netanyahu on ending the war. “Very firm,” he replied. “But he wants it too … he wants to end it too.”
