Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, a senior member of Dubai’s ruling family, has passed away aged 76, drawing condolences from leaders in the UAE and Pakistan. Dubai announced a mourning period in his honour. President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed grief, praising Sheikh Ahmed’s contributions to Dubai and the UAE and offering condolences to his family.
