Israel’s “total impunity” must end as Palestinians endure the “last expansionist apartheid settler colonial occupation still standing in the twenty-first century”, an Arab League representative told the International Court of Justice. “The insistence on placing Israel above the law through the politicization of accountability and adopting double standards in the application of justice is a direct threat to international threat and stability,” said Abdel Hakim Al Rifai, head of delegation at the Permanent Mission of the League of Arab States in Brussels.
