On Friday, Israeli attacks had killed eight people in Gaza, including five women and one child in Khan Younis, medical sources said. They were in displacement camps in Al Masawi area, which Israel had once called a “safe zone”. Nine people, including a woman and child, were injured when an Israeli drone struck a school north-west of Khan Younis, the Wafa news agency reported.

In the past 24 hours, 56 people have been killed in the enclave.
