Demonstrators demanded an end to violence and criticized US President Joe Biden’s administration for its staunch support for Israel and muted calls to ease the bombing of civilian areas. “Genocide Joe has got 2 go”, read one banner as crowds moved through the streets of Manhattan and stopped at the Rockefeller Plaza, home to the world-famous Christmas tree display.
