Thailand’s Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin said that 23 Thai hostages captured by Hamas are safe and would be “freed soon”. Thavisin said he had spoken to the head of the Royal Thai Armed Forces on Sunday, who confirmed that all 23 nationals are safe, English daily The Nation reported. Thailand is negotiating with Hamas via Malaysia for the release of the captives.
