Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid told The Associated Press that the groups’ fighters killed the top media and information officers of the Afghanistan government, Dawa Khan Minapal, in Kabul. Dawa Khan had also served as spokesperson of Afghan President Ashraf Ghani. An official of the federal ministry reported that he was assassinated during Friday prayers on DarulAman Road.
