The Afghan interior minister reported that Taliban insurgents began to enter Kabul from all sides and US diplomats were evacuated from its embassy by chopper. The Afghan Presidential palace in its official tweet said that firing was heard at different points of Kabul but security forces controlled the situation with the collaboration of international partners. The Taliban leader in Doha said that the group ordered its fighters to avoid violence and provided safe passage to everyone seeking to leave.
