PM Khan talks about increase in sex-crimes in Pakistan
Provincial police chiefs have notified Prime Minister Imran Khan that "shamefully," sex crimes are on the upswing across the country. He was speaking at the Academy of Letters in Islamabad during a ceremony. “Three years ago, the entire nation rose in an uproar, demanding justice in the Zainab case,” he said. “But now, if you go through newspapers, you see a multitude of such news, but there is no public outcry.” The prime minister emphasised the importance of scholars, saying that they are vital for leading the country to success.
