SARGODHA, Oct 18 (APP): A youth was hit to death by a car in the limits of Tarkhanawala police station here on Sunday. Police said that Imran (22) was crossing the road near Sial Sharif Adda when a recklessly driven car hit him. He died on the spot. A case has been registered against the car driver.
SARGODHA, Oct 18 (APP): Police claimed on Sunday to have arrested five criminals including four proclaimed offenders and recovered liquor and weapons from their possession. During a drive against drug pushers, the team of Urban Area police station headed by SHO Ameer Ahmed Khan conducted a raid in its jurisdiction and arrested a bootlegger and recovered 120 litres of liquor from him.
SARGODHA, Oct 14 (APP): Deputy Commissioner Abdullah Nayyar Sheikh approved more than 50 private educational institutions across the district, including primary, middle, high and higher secondary schools. He directed to keep in mind for registration of schools, the bank accounts, health certificate, fitness, library, spacious playground, recreational facilities, security and other teachers' educational qualifications, fee charter and parking.
SARGODHA, Oct 14 (APP): A man gunned down his sister for honour in Laksiyan Police limits here on Wednesday. The police said the accused, Rashid of Chak Bhattiyanwala, shot dead his 16-year-old sister Bushra Bibi and fled. The body was handed over to the family after postmortem while the police after registering a case against the murderer started raids.
