Sanaullah accuses Khan of bringing several crises

Sahiwal: Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah claimed that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif would take the country out of the economic woes after the latter’s return from London Mr Sanaullah, speaking at a convention, slammed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, saying, “Imran's Jail Bharo Movement has been denounced by the masses.” Sanaullah blamed Khan for several crises, saying the deposed premier had been busy staging protests, the long march, and the "Jail Bharo Movement".

Next army chief to be appointed ‘in a day or two’: Sanaullah

On Friday, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said the matter of the next army chief’s appointment would be settled in a “day or two”. In an interview, Sanaullah said: “I believe the prime minister has completed this process (of consultation about the army chief appointment) and will bring it to paper, today or tomorrow or the next two days, [it] takes no time.”

Imran Khan trying to divert attention: Sanaullah

Islamabad: Lashing out at the PTI, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah on Sunday claimed that Imran Khan would suffer defeat during the upcoming by-elections. Terming PTI’s back-to-back public gatherings across the country “political stunts”, Rana Sanaullah said that Imran Khan was trying to divert attention from his theft. “Whoever will not cooperate with the FIA relating to an inquiry into the prohibited funding case [against PTI] will be arrested,” he warned.

Sanaullah warns PTI against causing ‘anarchy’

On Sunday, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah cautioned the PTI of action if its protesters were to march toward Islamabad with the "intent to cause anarchy". He also said that the final decision in this regard would be taken jointly with the help of coalition partners. "I don't know what decision the leaders of the coalition government will take, but if they decide [to go for] action, then we will not allow protesters to even come out of their homes," the minister told media representatives.
