Global Covid-19 cases pass 250 million

According to an AFP calculation taken from official sources around 2100 GMT on Monday, more than 250 million COVID-19 illnesses have been recorded worldwide since the pandemic began. COVID-19 has caused more than five million fatalities worldwide, yet the vast majority of individuals infected have recovered. Some people, on the other hand, have continued to have symptoms weeks or even months afterwards. The data are based on daily reporting from each country's health authority.

Coronavirus claims 19 more deaths in Pakistan

In the last 24 hours, 43,901 corona tests were completed around the country, with another 580 corona cases reported, according to the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC). According to the NCOC, the overall number of corona cases in the country has increased to 1,275,158 in the last 24 hours, while the total number of deaths has increased to 28,496 and the rate of positive cases has increased to 1.32 percent.
