A survivor of the overnight Israeli air strike on Gaza’s Al Mawasi has described losing three relatives in the attack, saying families were buried in the sand and people killed as they slept. Mohammed Al Shaer has been living in Al Mawasi since he was displaced from Rafah three months ago. “We, like all families in Al Mawasi, believe that we are in a safe area according to the classification of the occupation army. But what happened tonight is a tragedy by all standards,” he told The National.
