Brazil’s President Lula da Silva met British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to discuss re-establishing normal relations between the countries, officials said. Lula said that the meeting was part of Brazil’s “comeback” in its relations with the world, following the controversial presidency of Jair Bolsonaro. Mr Sunak expressed interest in working together on common interests such as tackling climate change and strengthening economic relationships.
