Sudan’s warring military factions agreed to send representatives for negotiations, possibly in Saudi Arabia, the UN’s senior official there told The Associated Press. The talks would initially focus on establishing a “stable and reliable” ceasefire monitored by “national and international” observers, Volker Perthes said.
