Lebanese state media reported an Israeli strike struck the southern suburb of Beirut, known as Dahieh, on Thursday, targeting Haret Hreik area with two missiles, as a US envoy seeks to broker a ceasefire. The strike came after a call by the Israeli military’s Arabic spokesperson Avichay Adreaa on X for residents to leave the areas of Hadath Beirut and Haret Hreik, publishing a map of buildings that people should leave.
