Hamas said that its stance on the new US administration would depend on its positions towards the Palestinian people, their legitimate rights, and their just cause. The group spoke after Donald Trump claimed victory in the race for the White House early on Wednesday. “The US president-elect is required to listen to the voices that have been raised from American society itself for more than a year regarding the Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip and that reject the occupation and genocide and oppose support and bias towards the Zionist entity,” it said.
