Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, killed by Israel on Wednesday, was responsible for “immense suffering”, European Council President Charles Michel said. “He’s responsible for the terrorist attack launched by Hamas on October 7, and for the suffering of the Palestinian people,” Michel said in Brussels. “He’s also responsible for the immense suffering of the people in Gaza because of his actions,” he added.
