Unknown gunmen shot a Sikh Unani physician in Pakistan’s northern city of Peshawar on Thursday, causing concern among the province’s small minority community. The Sikhs have demanded that the Pakistani government safeguard their safety and put a stop to those who are attempting to harm them.

The perpetrators allegedly escaped after shooting four rounds at Hakeem Satnam Singh, who was inside his clinic, according to the police.
