Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, met government leaders and representatives of Small Island Developing States (SIDS). They discussed the risks and challenges facing SIDS nations, a collection of 39 states and 18 associate members of U|N regional commissions that face social, economic and environmental vulnerabilities due to climate change. Members of the group include islands and coastal developing countries that span the Caribbean, the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian Oceans and the South China Sea.
