According to a written statement issued by the Senate Secretariat on Friday, Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Shaukat Tarin revealed the specifics of the arrangement under which Pakistan got monies worth $3 billion from Saudi Arabia.

Under an agreement struck between the central bank of Pakistan and the Saudi Fund for Development, a much-anticipated $3 billion tranche was deposited in the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on December 4, 2021.
