Shahid Afridi will play for the Quetta Gladiators in Pakistan Super League 7, which will be his final season after playing for the Multan Sultans in the previous edition.

The trade was announced on Thursday, just days before the Player Draft 2022, which is set to take place on Sunday.

The Quetta Gladiators will be Afridi’s fourth PSL squad, following his stints with Peshawar Zalmi (2016 and 2017), Karachi Kings (2018), and Multan Sultan (2019-21). The flamboyant batter was hurt and had to withdraw from the previous season without completing it.
