Police arrested a seminary teacher in Rawalpindi’s Pirwadhai for sexually assaulting and torturing a 16-year-old girl. On the complaint of the victim’s father, police registered a first information report (FIR) against Mufti Shahnawaz Ahmed and a female instructor who helped him. It is reported that he sought pre-arrest interim bail from the court to avoid his arrest.
