On Monday, Turkish Defence Minister Hulusi Akar told Russian counterpart Sergey Shoigu that Moscow should re-evaluate the suspension of its participation. In a phone call between the two ministers, Akar told Shoigu it was extremely important for the grain deal to continue. He added that the treaty should be executed separately from the conflict in Ukraine.
