Russian forces targeted Ukrainian energy facilities and military-industrial complexes in its overnight strikes on Kyiv, according to the Ministry of Defence. The ministry claimed in a Telegram update that its “massive” overnight strikes on Kyiv hit all intended targets and “the strike’s objectives were achieved”. Meanwhile, footage from Kyiv showed damaged residential buildings and cars, with the authorities saying civilians were killed and injured, including a child.
