Millions of people ran for shelter late on Monday afternoon after rocket alert sirens sounded in central Israel, including in Tel Aviv, after projectiles were launched from Lebanon. Israel’s military said three projectiles were intercepted and that no injuries have been reported yet. Israel’s police said shrapnel fell in the Holon area, south of Tel Aviv, and bomb disposal units were operating at the scene. No damage was reported.
