Global trade was being disrupted by attacks in the Red Sea, the war in Ukraine, and low water levels in the Panama Canal, the UN trade body said. Jan Hoffmann, trade expert at the UN Conference on Trade and Development, warned that shipping costs have surged and energy and food costs are being affected, increasing the risk of further inflation.
