The Red Cross has returned the bodies of Palestinian prisoners from Gaza following Israel’s confirmation of the identity of the latest captive released by Hamas. The Palestinian Information Center reports 15 bodies were returned by Israel in the latest exchange. Under the October ceasefire deal, Hamas released all 20 living captives held in Gaza since the 2023 attack on Israel, in return for nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners and wartime detainees held in Israel.
